Side raise with dumbbells. Start by placing your feet hip-width apart and your knees slightly bent. Take a dumbbell in each hand and stand with your arms hanging by your sides. From here, raise your arms slowly until they are shoulder-level and hold the pose for two seconds. Lower your arms and repeat the motions. Do at least 15 sets of this.

Prone Extension. This is one of the easier arm exercises that you can do and it does not require and weights. Just lie face down, on your front, with your hands by your sides, palm upward. For comfort, try placing a towel under your forehead beforehand. From this position, keep your arms straight and try to lift them up off the floor slightly. Hold them in the air for three seconds, contracting your shoulder muscles. Place your hands down again, and repeat.

Overhead extension. For this exercise you need your faithful dumbbells again. Begin by placing your feet hip-width apart and your knees slightly bent. While holding a dumbbell in each hand, begin by raising your arms above your head, keeping the dumbbells vertically. Bend your elbows and bring your arms behind your head. When you are done, lower them and repeat the motions again. You will need about 15 reps of this exercise too.

Biceps curl. Another one of the easy arm exercises, this one is perfect for beginners and people who just got into exercising. Stand with your legs slightly apart, and hold a dumbbell in each hand. With your palms facing forward, now bend your elbows and lift the weight towards your chest. Do about 15 reps of this exercise.
