Heal Adrenal Fatigue
Adrenal fatigue is more than just feeling tired and stressed. It’s a medical condition where your adrenal glands’ ability to produce cortisol in the right amounts is disrupted, and consequently your response to stress factors. There are a couple of signs that might point to adrenal fatigue symptoms.
You have difficulty getting up each morning, even after a long sleep. You feel like you’re more tired than rest. And you simply cannot understand how it is possible. The failure of your adrenal glands to secrete the necessary hormones will eventually result in high levels of fatigue each day and in your inability to handle stress. You will eventually have to deal with both physical and emotional stress.
In order to cure the symptoms of adrenal fatigue, or at least alleviate them, you can try to:
Avoid excess sugar and processed grains. These type of foods usually put a strain on your adrenal glands. They cause a spike in insuline and blood sugar levels. They have to work extra hard in order to regulate and bring your blood sugar levels to normal.
Add healthy fats to your diet. You can add to your diet healthy supplements of fats like coconut or olive oil, olives and butter. They are also great to fight lower belly fat.
Get more sleep. Make up a morning and evening routine to help set you on the right path. Avoid using electronics before 10 PM and try to relax. Prioritize your tasks, divide your schedule, delegate your duties and responsibilities. It will make you feel less stressed and consequently will be able to handle everything better.
Hydrate. It is a great way to add your adrenal gland. Drink the recommended daily dose of water, take up unsweetened green tea or decaf coffee.
Do your best to eliminate stress. You might have heard this repeatedly. Stress is the cause of many conditions; and of adrenal fatigue as well. Try to gradually eliminate any stress factors from your life. Exercise. Read a good book. Meditate. Take up yoga. Try not to worry so much or overthink situations.
Heal adrenal failure right in its tracks. Don’t get accustomed to the feeling of feeling tired constantly. By taking small precautions you will restart the way in which your adrenal glands work. You will be able to rest properly and feel healthier and more energetic.
