Brush your teeth often. Usually, the bad odor from your mouth is caused by bacteria. Therefore, brushing your teeth after every meal can help you remove it. If it’s not possible, then you should at least make time to brush your teeth twice a day. Make sure to clean all of your teeth properly so as to not leave any bacteria behind.

Brush your tongue. Sometimes, halitosis can occur because of the accumulation of bacteria on the tongue. Consequently, when you brush your teeth, pay some attention to your tongue too. There are many toothbrushes which come with a tongue scraper on the back. You can either use that or simply clean it using the bristles of your toothbrush.

Floss. An important tip towards getting rid of halitosis is to floss frequently. Sometimes brushing your teeth is not enough, because there may still be residue of food between your teeth. If its left there, it rots and causes an unpleasant smell and it also attracts bacteria. If you do not believe in flossing, try doing it now and smelling your floss. Maybe that will convince you to floss more often.
