Having a morning routine can be very beneficial to the way in which your day unfolds. Paired with an evening routine, planning can go a long way in helping you to be more efficient and productive. You will start to feel better, you will be more energized and you will be able to complete your everyday activities easier. Having a morning routine will ensure that your levels of productivity will be higher for longer periods of time. You will live a more positive, purposeful life and focus on your growth.
Your alarm clock. The morning routine begins right from the moment you wake up. It’d be best if you managed to get out of bed at that precise time, without snoozing the alarm clock 2 or three times before actually doing it. If you have difficulties, try setting it to ring with 5 or 10 minutes earlier than usual. Start small.
Do some stretching. A couple of crunches or push ups can go a long way for your posture and energy levels. Put on a happy song and dance.
Eat a healthy breakfast. Avoid sugary foods from the first hour in the morning. Choose instead some oatmeal, yogurt, fruits or a smoothie. Try drinking some lemon water on empty stomach.
Write a To-do list. Include your daily activities, what tasks have more priority and how you will achieve them. You will have a clearer view of what you have to do and how you should do it. Set up to deal with the most important issues right in the morning. Save the ones that are easier to solve for later.
Recite affirmations. Think positive in terms of how your day may have the ability to unfold. Empower your words and let their light shine through you. Relax your mind and body and be prepared to be kind, friendly and approachable.
This type of morning routine usually takes up 30 minutes out of your time. 30 minutes that will ensure that your day will be awesome. You will not feel as tired and irritated and you will be able to perform with a clearer and more positive attitude. You will be a better person and you will make others feel good as well.
